The
internationalization of the Bachelor Program of Special Education was
done by collaborating between Unesa and other universities including UKM and
University of Human Development Iraq particularly through student exchange
programs and summer camps. In 2020, four students from UKM participated in an
internship program for one semester at the Bachelor Program of Special
Education in collaboration with public special school Gedangan
Gedangan Sidoarjo. In 2021 a summer camp program in collaboration with the
University of Human Development Iraq was held at the Faculty of Education.
In
addition, Bachelor Program of Special Education program has also carried
out internationalization of 2017 students through a student exchange program to
Khon Kaen University Thailand in 2018 which was attended by Dormian K Siregar
(NIM 17010044093) for 1 month and in 2019 a student named Ega Edva Nurusyifa'
Hartono ( NIM 17010044049). In 2020, 5 students from the 2018 batch took part
in the ICT program by taking 9 credits in one semester at Universitas
Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). In 2021 the ICT program for Special Education
students studying at UKM was attended by one Class of 2020 student named Yuwana
Dyaksa Yudaka (NIM 2001044002) by taking 9 credits. In 2021 students will join
the summer camp program in collaboration with the University of Human
Development Iraq. The upcoming program that will be carried out to maintain the
stability of the internationalization program is designed to send students to
carry out student teaching internships at UKM Malaysia and King Mongkhut
University Thailand in the amount of 20 credits. Another program by involving
students to international conferences.
