These
activities are carried out to support the competences of graduates in order to
be able to work in an international context. Some of our graduates work in
international schools such as Sampoerna Academy School, Surabaya Grammar
School, and Labschool in Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Some graduates also
work in international schools. Graduates who work in international schools

The
course of study's international orientation is essential for student's future
employment prospects in international organizations and global markets.
Internationalization activities are carried out to prepare graduates of
Bachelor of Educational Technology to be accepted in the worldwide job market.
The efforts made by the Educational Technology study program in the form of
Internationalization activities include
1. Development
of human resources and competencies lecturers/teaching staff on an
international scale
As part of the faculty's policy to
improve global competitiveness, the Dean always encourages and supports
lecturers to study further and take short courses abroad to transfer their
knowledge and experience to students. Currently, the Educational
Technology study program has one lecturer who graduated from the doctoral
program at Twente University in the Netherlands. In contrast, the RNTC
short course activity on media production Video learning has been attended by
one of the lecturers in the Netherlands. In addition, four lecturers are MCE
certified from the short course held by Microsoft in 2021 and 2022.
Lecturers are also actively
participating in international seminars as keynote speakers or presenters as
well as publications of international journals and joint research in the field
of Educational Technology with various foreign universities, including Chung
Cheng University, Taiwan, University of Newcastle, and Kathmandu University,
Nepal. In 2022 one of the lecturers will be involved in learning innovation
development activities through collaboration with four countries in ASIA in the
Technology-enabled Innovation in Education in Southeast Asia (TIESEA) activity
held in Thailand. To support the international existence of Educational
Technology, lecturers and students are members of the International Association
for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) organization. As a
follow-up to the development of human resources in the future, an International
quantum HRM certification will be carried out

Learning Activities
To improve the competence of graduates
competing in the global market, each course's semester learning design (RPS)
provides references to foreign languages (English). There are more than 30
courses directly related to aspects of Curriculum and Educational Technology.
In addition, many skill-based techniques such as ICT-Based Learning,
2D and 3D Animation, Video Media Development, Graphic Media Development, and
Audio Media development support global competencies. The efforts made by
production course lecturers provide up-to-date laboratory
equipment, software, and skills to align with the skills needed
in the worldwide job market. In addition, several courses apply bilingual classes
with an introduction to two languages (Indonesian and English).

Guest lectures on an International scale
One of the efforts to internationalize
is to bring in international guest lecturers. On April 27-29, 2021, whiteboard
animation training was held by Seameo/Seamolec, followed by lecturers and
students. On May 19-21, 2021, distance education development training was held
by Seameo/Seamolec, followed by lecturers and students. On July 26-218, 2021, a
learning video media development training was held by Seameo/Seamolec, followed
by lecturers and students. In addition, in 2020, he brought in guest lecturers
from Wonkwang University South Korea, Professor Sur Jung Chul, Professor Choi
Jeong Wan, and Mr. Tak Ki Tai, with the theme of the public lecture
"Educational Design in the Era of Society 5.0."

Internship Activities on an International scale
The formed activity is in the form of
student internships at the Singapore International School on
behalf of Asmi and Andre's class of 2014 to support the competence of
educational technology graduate profiles. Furthermore, in 2022 the Educational
Technology study program also collaborates with the SEAMEO Regional Open
Learning Center (SEAMOLEC), which is one of the 26 centers under the auspices
of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and has a
focus on Distance Open Education. Educational technology students can be placed
in internships in countries around ASIA under the auspices of SEAMOLEC.
5. International
lecturer and student exchange programs
On October 17-21, 2021, under the
guidance of the Faculty of Education, implemented
summer course activities in
collaboration with UHD Iraq. Lecturers and students attended activities. In
addition, on July 4-22, 2022, a joint lecture with Bicol university Philippines
related to the development of storytelling. Educational Technology
students also carry out internationalization of student exchange programs with
Khon Kaen University Thailand continuously every year through the Faculty of
Education competition. In 2022 one of the Educational Technology students
participated in a student exchange at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
Education Faculty.
Efforts
to internationalize the Educational Technology study program have yielded
results; this is proven by the acceptance of several educational technology
graduates from Universitas Negeri Surabaya in international scale
companies/agencies, namely
